Almost free of dialogue, the picture tells a powerful story of a young, shy woman who finds an abandoned baby behind a dumpster. She brings the infant home and finds solace and human connection with it – a connection that fails with adults, especially when the prospect of a functioning relationship turns into a nightmare.

About the Director:

Mikko Kuparinen

Mikko Kuparinen (1979, Finland) collected main prizes at international film festivals for each of his last three short films. His fiction debut was a romantic comedy, Body Fat Index of Love (2012). His English-language feature-length debut, 2 Nights till Morning, premiered at the Montreal IFF 2015, winning the Best Director award.
